Regulatory and Government advisor

David brings more than thirty years of experience in highly regulated industries including pharmaceuticals, food, and nutritional supplements. He has successfully guided numerous products to successful international approval. David’s team has recently secured multiple US EPA permits for outdoor testing of genetically engineered microalgae at the company’s Calipatria, CA research station.

Prior to Viridos, David was Senior Director, Corporate Regulatory Affairs CMC with Allergan Pharmaceutical Company, and was in progressively more responsible research and development and regulatory compliance roles in the chemical, agricultural biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and industrial biotechnology business units of The Dow Chemical Company. David holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry with a minor in Biochemistry from Indiana University, Bloomington, a BA in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College, and a diploma from the University of California, San Diego’s Executive Program for Scientists and Engineers.
